We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Power Platform Engineer (Power Apps, Power Automate & SharePoint) in O'Fallon, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise workflow applications using Microsoft Power Platform, with a primary focus on Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate workflows into scalable technical solutions, and rapidly iterate on new features and functionality.
  • Architect and implement production-ready Power Platform solutions, including deployment pipelines, source control, environment management, and development-to-production migration processes.
  • Design and maintain data models, relationships, and application architecture to ensure scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
  • Support the evolution of existing SharePoint-based solutions toward future-state platforms such as Dataverse and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Provide technical expertise and best practices for Power Platform development, user experience design, and application governance.
  • Work within a fast-paced, agile environment where requirements may evolve quickly and require strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, specifically Canvas Apps.
  • Strong experience building and supporting Power Automate workflows and automation solutions.
  • Experience using SharePoint as a data source and application platform.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform application lifecycle management, including:
    • Deployment pipelines
    • Source control
    • Environment management
    • Release and migration processes
  • Experience designing data models, table relationships, and application architecture within low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement scalable solutions with an understanding of both technical and business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with end users and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in small, collaborative teams with high levels of autonomy and ownership.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) best practices.
  • Exposure to enterprise workflow management and business process automation.
  • Familiarity with broader Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering production-ready Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and collaborating with business users throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, high-performing team environment.
  • Experience with enterprise application architecture, workflow automation, and low-code solution design preferred.
