Our client, a worldwide media & entertainment brand is searching for a Senior Platform Engineer to add to their team!
Responsibilities:
Vendor Based Software support experience
Engage as technical point of contact with vendors, peers, and infrastructure operations partners.
A basic understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them - engaging the vendor as needed
Provide support for multiple levels of testing prior to upgrades or releases of new infrastructure, software, and service layer components.
Perform daily activities to ensure availability and stability
Participate in evaluating, developing, and implementing tools and automation to facilitate platform maintenance and administration to ensure operational efficiency, and reliability.
Potential 24/7 on call support per the established policies and procedures including the Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes
Participate in planning and executing projects for business unit initiatives and updating existing infrastructure, roadmaps, products and/or services.
Proactively ensure compliance with Security standards
Create and maintain required system documentation
