Lucas Group has partnered with leading global manufacturing company on their search for Senior Performance Development Manager. This role will create and implement the talent development infrastructure, framework and strategies to support the organization. The primary focus of this role will be on the successful deployment and operational leadership of the talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, performance management and succession planning processes and creating and executing the talent development plan with the Leadership Team and HR Management for professional and executive levels in the organization. Partner with HR professionals on the implementation / maintenance of the overall organizational talent management strategy. The incumbent will live the corporate values of treating people with dignity and respect, practicing leadership, driving continuous improvement, acting with a sense of urgency, promoting innovation, fighting for consensus, and managing through teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s talent management process including recruiting, selection and onboarding as well as performance management, leadership development and succession planning.
  • Manage the company’s Leadership Development program that directly supports the Corporate Succession Plan through talent acquisition, and development of internal personnel for key positions.
  • Design and develop innovative and highly effective talent management programs and processes to improve the depth and diverseness of leadership talent.
  • Leverage the Cornerstone Talent Management System as the infrastructure behind recruitment, performance management, talent development and succession planning.
  • Maintain an ongoing dialogue with key upper management for discussions on the talent and development of their direct reports to continually build a working succession plan.
  • Partner with key business leaders in the development of programs that align with the company’s strategy and organizational culture and values. Support all other functions of Human Resources as needed.
  • Perform any other functions required by the Vice President, Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in human resources areas, ideally with time spent in the Organizational Development, Talent Management or Training areas.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple programs, processes and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders to gain commitment and support for major initiatives to help the organization identify and develop talent management initiatives to build organizational capability and grow the business.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, change management, communication and presentation skills.
