Our client is seeking a top notch Senior Network Engineer that will focus on ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services and firewall resources. You will achieve this by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area MPLS networks (WANs) across the company. In addition, as the Sr. Network Engineer, you will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. You will also analyze and resolve network related hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
Qualifications:
- Valid Cisco CCNP is required
- CCIE preferred, as well as other certifications.
- This is a Full time permanent position. Must have a Green Card or be a US Citizen.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10+ years’ experience designing, installing and configuring complex Cisco networks in a HA environment
with multi-site branch office locations
- Must have current “hands on” experience installing and configuring network hardware
- Proficient in the design and configuration of Checkpoint 5600,4600,1490 NG firewalls
- Proficient in the design and configuration of Cisco Nexus 5596,5548 access layer switches (VPC/VDC configuration)
- Proficient in the design and configuration of Cisco ASA 5520,5505 firewalls
- Proficient in the design and configuration of Cisco Catalyst 6500,3850,3650,3550,2960 switches
- Proficient in the design and configuration of Cisco 4451, 4431,3900,2811 series routers
- Proficient in Cisco VPN technologies IPsec site-to-site VPN, GRE, DMV
- Proficient in designing and deploying advanced routing and switching technologies protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
- Route filtering, route-maps, ACL,s, prefix-list, distribute-list inbound/outbound, route prepend
- Proficient in Cisco wireless technologies, configuration of cisco 5500 series wireless controllers, 3602,3702
Responsibilities:
- Network design, implementation and support in medium to large IP network of routers, switches, wireless and security infrastructure
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, wireless and security technologies
- Advanced LAN knowledge, including Ethernet, VLAN tagging, STP, access/trunking, LACP, Cisco switching stacking, L3 QoS, L3 ACL’s security
- Advanced WAN and IP knowledge including MPLS Metro Ethernet, IPsec/VPN. Advanced client VPN knowledge including IPsec/SSL, encryption/hash mechanisms and multi-factor authentication
- Multi-protocol network experience including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, UDP, SSH, DHCP, RTP, VRRP, HSRP, wireless (802.11), NAT/PAT
- Experience with network security, Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco ASA devices, access control management, and standard security monitoring tools and principles
- Experience with monitoring and alerting technologies including SNMP, ICMP, NetFlow, SolarWinds
- Experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Participate in a 24×7 shared on-call schedule
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Visio
- Some travel required
