Lucas Group is partnering with a multinational manufacturing company in Newnan, GA.  Their sales are the second largest in the world and the world leader in water vehicle productions and sales.

They are looking to grow their team and bring in a Senior Network Analyst that can help install and maintain Network Operating Systems

Position Summary
  • Gather and analyze organizational data for developing information systems.
  • Study existing business procedures and computer programs to determine how both could be better organized and structured for the betterment of the organization.
  • Study technological and business trends to be able to recommend changes to technology and business process to take advantage of advances in both
  • Design and guide the implementation of business computed-based information systems. Prepare and present reports to management as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support, administer, install and maintain Network Operating Systems, Network Servers, Routers, Switches and RF Equipment. Monitor and maintain the performance of all Network Systems.
  • Provide team leadership and oversee Network Analysts in the establishing of Network and Operational Policies /Procedures and in accomplishing Departmental Objectives.
  • Develop plans for Network Servers, Routers, Switches, RF Equipment and Workstation Hardware and Software, including the technical evaluation of all such hardware and software, the making of recommendations and the sourcing of quotes and preparation of necessary paperwork. Install and maintain Network Servers, Routers, Switches, RF Equipment and Software Systems and provide for the security of all system And data files.
  • Establish policies and procedures for the backup of all Network Servers and Systems. Perform daily backups of such servers and systems. Store backup media in appropriate secured area. Classify, catalog and maintain library of backup media.
  • Monitor and report performance of all Computer Servers and Network Infrastructure including frame-relay and T1 lines.
  • Develop, prepare and assist in implementing standard practices and common procedures for Network Servers, Routers, Switches, RF Equipment and Workstation hardware and Software.
  • PC Support activities as required from time to time.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or Business) or equivalent mix of education and experience.
4 to 7 years’ experience in Network Systems administration, support and/or maintenance.

Other Required Skills:
Specific experience with Windows, Active Directory, and UNIX. Vendor Certification – CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching with some work experience
MCSA Windows Server 2008 with some work experience VCP5-DV with some work experience (possibly VCP4-DV with experience in VMWare version 5)
Customer and team oriented, with effective oral and written skills.
