Our client is a sixty year old leader in the Medical Device industry and headquartered in the far northern suburbs of Chicago. We are partnering with them in search of a Senior Manager of Service Operations. This is an exciting, newly created position. He/She will be a visible leader redesigning and elevating the team to make an immediate impact. The Senior Manager will also be incentivized by the revenue and growth of the team. Your team would consist of Repair Supervisor, Sales Supervisor, Service Technicians and Sales Personnel.
Our ideal candidate will have experience elevating a service department as well as experience in the following;
Developing service life cycle strategies and create effective parts stock strategies to optimize service performance.
Providing root cause analysis to improve overall processes or quality.
Recommend purchases and or allocations of spare parts inventory, supplies, etc. and maintain / reconcile these items in order to meet or exceed contractual commitments and customer expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree highly preferred
5+ years leadership experience within a service/field service capacity
Medical Device industry experience strongly preferred; otherwise, experience within another highly regulated industry
Expertise in lean/six sigma methodology
Willingness to travel domestically (approximately 20%)
