We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance systems within the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep Java expertise, strong experience in complex, low-latency environments, and a solid understanding of financial markets and systems.
Experience with Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol is strongly preferred, and familiarity with AWS cloud services is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability Java applications supporting financial services platforms
- Contribute to the architecture and technical design of trading, market data, or transaction-processing systems
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability in latency-sensitive environments
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices
- Support production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to financial services
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Java
- Proven experience working in financial services (e.g., trading systems, investment banking, asset management, payments, or market infrastructure)
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience building distributed, multi-threaded, and high-performance systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Hands on experience working in modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol (development, integration, or support)
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda, or similar)
