Lucas Group is partnering with a multinational manufacturing company. Their sales are the second largest in the world and the world leader in water vehicle productions and sales.

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for organizing our ongoing IT  projects 
  • This role involves managing project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
  • Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  •  Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met. Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
  • Providing administrative support as needed. Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members. Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, business, or related field of study.
  • Project Management certification or work towards such a certification is a plus (e.g. PMP, CAPM) One to three years’ experience in related field.

Other Required Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Advanced Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of formal project management methodologies is a plus.
