This position will partner with the FP&A / Accounting community to directly support the Financial Planning & Analysis team, supporting key business activities related to the creation and delivery of accurate, reliable financial forecasts / budgets, financials and operational results. The successful candidate must be able to manage and execute technical elements as well as have some functional knowledge. Areas of experience and knowledge need to include:
Planning
- Direct experience in configuring Hyperion Planning applications with both standard and composite data forms, integrated task lists and complex rules for allocations, inter-company eliminations, currency translation, etc.
- Experience on release 11.1.2.4.xx directly
- Exposure with single applications with multiple plan types
- Exposure to FDMEE integration to planning with limited Lock and Send data inputs
- Master data integration with Hyperion DRM Must understand DRM; related attributes and how they manifest in issues within Hyperion Planning
- Experience supporting multiple users with monthly forecasts and quickly support data corrections for forecast restatements.
- Essbase
- Direct experience building and maintaining Essbase cubes (both BSO and ASO) and related data movements into and between cubes
- Experience on release 11.1.2.4.xx directly
- Integration is from FDMEE only, through direct links to ERP systems or Excel
- Deep knowledge of partitions
- Has a single transparent partition which sources from five different data sources
- Understanding of how master data changes at a base level will require data restructures and the ability to manage those changes
- Good working knowledge of DRM and the required Interactions between the DRM Administrator and Essbase / Planning Administrator
- Exposure to ODI used to update Essbase and Planning outlines on a daily basis –such that failures of those updates can be rapidly triaged and resolved
- MAXL scripting and the implications of such to application security and supporting calculations
- Ability to trouble shoot and support bug resolution at a technical level
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, with a preferred background in IT or MIS
