Description:

Lucas Group has been engaged to identify candidates for an Human Resources Manager opportunity on behalf of an industry leader in Columbus, GA.  Ideal candidates should have 7-15 years of progressive HR generalist experience to include supporting senior leadership in driving the HR strategy.  Candidates should also be able to manage multiple competing projects; possessing a strong ability to build relationships with and influence others.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

Experience Requirements:

• 7-15 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Demonstrated experience partnering with employees at every level of an organization to influence change
• Ability to prioritize and manage complex projects
• HR certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Partnering with the business to align human resources programs with business goals
• Driving the HR strategy for talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, training and development, compensation, and workforce planning
• Coaching and counseling operations executives on effective HR planning
• Supporting employee relations and promoting employee engagement and retention
• Leading and influencing the talent review process
• Utilizing continuous improvement to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes
• Consulting with business leaders on employment law and regulatory compliance
