Director of Sales Training - Remote

Lucas Group has partnered with a leader in senior housing consulting and marketing arena to find a Director of Sales Training. This person will be responsible for advancing the Training for clients and internally by strategizing and developing ways to enhance learning events; create, package, and deliver content; while coordinating with the Marketing and Sales Departments, to help ensure client and company sales needs, training and procedures are met.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be a critical member of the sales team. The company has been building out a sales training arm for the last year or so and this will be a new, needed position for them due to that growth. You will have the opportunity to travel to clients and help train their teams on the consultant’s sales process, help coach their teams and define strategy to help enhance their sales or performance of sales teams. This position will also be expected to develop and implement best in class training, strategy and programs for their clients and internal sales teams as well. Responsibilities

  • Development of curriculum for sales strategy for clients including programs to increase clients and internal sales team’s efficiency
  • Monitor those  strategies and programs by doing reoccurring analysis  to make sure content, strategy and execution all stay in alignment
  • Build a solid partnership with the field sales contractors to continue rto help service clients
  • Creation of webinars (balance of training, content delivery – Knowledgeable of Zoom)
  • Develop best standard operating practices  for coaching client teams and new sales consultant employees of the company

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years minimum experience in training and/or selling senior housing, real estate, resort, hotel industry or similar relationship based selling
  • 5 year degree in Communications, organizational behavior, psychology, business or related field is a plus.
  • Experience in presenting to C level clients, ability to facilitate to small to medium size training groups in a  and classroom type  environment
  • Proficient with understanding of online learning and physical educational environments
  • Experience with scheduling , planning and logistics of large scale training
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel,& PowerPoint
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment

PRIMARY LOCATION
Remote – Travel role – Preferably based in Midwest but open to all locations near major airport
