The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will have a hand-on comprehensive responsibility for assisting with the preparation of the Company's SEC periodic filings, registration statements and other filings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Primary Job Function:

  • Oversee the process for gathering, summarizing, and analyzing the data necessary to complete such filings,
  • Prepare / review the financial statements, disclosures, and schedules included in the earnings release, and
  • Ensure compliance with new applicable accounting rules and regulations
  • Assist with consultation and research on technical accounting issues. Review and analyze the impact on the company and assists with implementation.
  • Collaborate with the business and financial management on accounting for complex or unusual transactions.
  • Work with other financial and accounting groups as well as external auditors to address reporting matters.
  • Coordinate with and assist external auditors related to completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Drive process improvements.
  • Preparation of management and other reporting packages, as required
  • Perform special projects, as identified.
  • Assist with developing, maintaining, updating, and communication of Company’s accounting policies and procedures

Experience:

  • Combined 5-7 years of experience is desired
  • Must have a least 2-3 years of recent hands-on 10Q/K preparation, ideally in a current supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and SEC guidelines; understand the impact of technical and business decisions. Experience writing technical memos is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation are required, advanced degree a plus.
