  • Provide technical leadership on interpretation and application of US GAAP.
  • Validate dry runs and parallel reporting outputs, ensuring forecast alignment.
  • Translate technical accounting changes into business-relevant financial narratives.

Parallel Close & Forecast Alignment

  • Support dual-basis close cycles with structured variance analysis.
  • Build and refine forecast models incorporating US GAAP measurement changes.
  • Reconcile plan vs. actual results under parallel accounting frameworks.
  • Deliver concise executive-ready reporting during compressed timelines.

Planning & Capital Modeling

  • Enhance driver-based models reflecting capital, liquidity, and earnings volatility.
  • Incorporate RBC and rating agency sensitivities into forecasts.
  • Provide scenario modeling to support executive capital allocation decisions.
  • Strengthen planning discipline during heavy reporting and budgeting seasons.

Executive & Board Support

  • Prepare materials explaining earnings impacts, reserve movements, and capital shifts.
  • Anticipate and address questions related to earnings quality and volatility.
  • Ensure clarity and consistency across leadership communications.

Process & Modernization Contribution

  • Identify automation opportunities in reporting and modeling workflows.
  • Support implementation of improved planning tools and data structures.
  • Standardize reporting frameworks across accounting bases.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and STAT insurance financial drivers; LDTI knowledge preferred.
  • Experience supporting parallel reporting or major accounting change.
  • Advanced modeling capabilities and capital planning exposure.
  • Ability to operate independently in high-pressure reporting environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills.

Profile

  • Analytical depth with business acumen.
  • Structured thinker comfortable with ambiguity.
