Scope of Responsibilities:
Works to install wiring and supporting equipment according to engineering drawings in-house and at the customer’s site. Follows blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in the commissioning of machines and systems and responds to customer’s service needs. Cross-disciplinary work is required with all trades, external companies, suppliers, and manufacturers. Diagnoses causes of malfunctions/failures and advises on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Independent installation of cable support and line routing systems, laying of data and power lines, and connection of electrical and electrohydraulic components
- Support the PLC programmers during commissioning in-house and at customer sites
- Inspects, troubleshoots and solves any issues related to the equipment’s electrical systems and manages to organizational safety standards
Education and Work Requirements:
- Completed training in electronics or mechatronics
- 5+ years progressive electrical engineering technology experience.
- Responsible, structured, independent way of thinking
- Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally
- Service oriented – ability to work closely with the customer
- Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, & internet applications
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
