         Senior Director of Business Development– Financial Services

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be a critical member of their high-performance sales team. The organization had built its foundation through mostly a very strong and detailed marketing approach and now have decided to put together a top notch, proactive sales team to complement that marketing approach to help better educate and grow their impressive line up of partner companies. This position with focus on developing partnership with organizations in the Affinity channel and offer services to their members. It is a very lucrative partnership for all involved. They will provide them with products that address debt relief and personal loan options to relieve their burdens and fit their needs This is an individual contributor role. This is truly a hunter role. You will have the opportunity to work on sales strategy, setting up presentations and appointments with key members of your target accounts as well as attend conferences and trade shows to develop your network.


SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years minimum of successful experience selling to the C- Suite level in a B2B/ B2C environment.
  • Experience hunting and persistence with ability to develop a network and pipeline mostly focused on large clients which entail a 6 to 9 month on average sales process.
  • Solid track record of follow up and engagement with core target accounts, someone creative and innovative in their search/research process.
  • Some financial background or understanding of the industry is a huge plus as you will need to have strong analytical skills to help model and identify opportunities in the market place.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to go along with positive attitude.
  • Can leverage colleagues and team to help close the deal.
  • BA/BS required

PRIMARY LOCATION
Will work out of Company office in the Bay area. Some travel required
