Role Overview: The Senior Director, HR Partner will partner with leaders to drive great people practices, creating a solid people strategy in alignment with the needs of the Technology business unit. This individual will act as a strategic advisor in matters relating to performance management, talent management, organizational design, and leadership development. In addition, the candidate will be involved in the creation and implementation of various HR programs and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategy, in alignment with Technology business needs, and successfully execute against it
- Understand the business plans and guide organizations and job design to meet the needs of the business;
- Partner with, and coach manager and leaders to facilitate organizational and cultural change;
- Be a champion for change and advise clients on change management best practices;
- Educate the clients on people trends and impact to broader strategy work;
- Engage deeply with leaders and employees to help shape the desired culture including a diverse and inclusive environment. Proactively identify challenges and build effective, scalable and lasting solutions;
- Successfully drive HR in the business day to day, including Performance Management, Career Development, Talent Management, and workforce planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR or a related field
- 7+ years of HR experience as a Business Partner (with the last 3-5 years supporting senior leadership clients)
- Demonstrated success supporting a matrixed technology organization for at least 3 years
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of business acumen, consulting, systems thinking, data analysis, job design, and organizational design in a structured human resources role
- The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognize trends, and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in this fast-moving, constantly changing environment is imperative
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; friendly, tactful, ability to influence others
- Global perspective and experience in running global initiatives a plus
- HR certifications a plus
