Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Finance Technology Team. This role is designed to directly support the Credit Team, playing a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making through extraction, transformation, automation, and reporting.

You’ll work closely with credit analysts and business stakeholders to build interactive dashboards, automate data workflows, and contribute to scalable analytics solutions. This position requires a strong background in financial or credit-related analytics, hands-on SQL expertise, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from Snowflake and other sources to support Credit Team initiatives.

  • Develop and automate data pipelines and business logic via stored procedures and custom SQL scripts.

  • Build interactive dashboards and reporting tools using Sigma or equivalent BI platforms; Power BI used at a basic level.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate within a small, fast-paced team to deliver projects end-to-end with clear communication and strong documentation.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and insight delivery.

  • Support the rollout and adoption of Sigma apps and help optimize BI tool usage.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst, specifically supporting Credit Teams at financial institutions, credit bureaus, or insurance companies.

  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including writing complex queries and stored procedures (SQL Hackerrank test required).

  • Experience working with large datasets in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

  • Hands-on experience with Sigma or similar BI tools that scale to large datasets (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – must be comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders and working independently within a tight-knit team.

  • High degree of initiative and problem-solving ability.
