We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior D365 Business Analyst for contract-to-hire opportunity in Danbury or Torrington, CT.
Responsibilities
- Configure, support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a primary focus on Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot production and business-process issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- Design and configure D365 F&O parameters, posting profiles, financial dimensions, workflows, security and related functionality.
- Support D365 implementations, system updates, integrations and changes to connected or peripheral systems.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service and Project stakeholders to evaluate requirements and deliver system improvements.
- Contribute to major initiatives such as shop-floor digitization, quality-module integration, supply-chain improvements, accounts payable automation and expense management.
- Maintain functional and system documentation for ongoing development and production support.
- Independently establish priorities, create direction and move projects and troubleshooting efforts forward.
Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Advanced functional and configuration experience across Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing modules.
- Experience supporting D365 F&O within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong D365 configuration, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, implementation and integration capabilities.
- Ability to understand the downstream business and system impact of configuration changes.
- Self-directed and able to manage priorities and deliver results with limited guidance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder-communication skills.
- SOX, IT General Controls, change-management or access-provisioning experience is a plus but not required.
Education & Work Experience
- Degree
- A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Work Experience
- Minimum five years of hands-on D365 F&O experience, or a combination of AX 2012 and D365 F&O experience.
- Previous experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Demonstrated experience personally configuring, troubleshooting and implementing within D365 F&O.
- Proven ability to work independently and complete complex D365 initiatives with limited direction.
