We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deltek Costpoint Administrator to manage and optimize our Deltek Costpoint system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Deltek Costpoint, strong analytical skills, and the ability to support and enhance the functionality of the system to meet the organization's financial and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration: Oversee the daily administration of the Deltek Costpoint system, including user setup, security management, and system configuration.
Data Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the Costpoint system. Perform regular data audits, troubleshoot data issues, and implement data cleansing processes as needed.
Report Generation: Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards within Costpoint to support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Customize standard reports and create ad-hoc reports based on user requirements.
System Upgrades and Maintenance: Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. Test new releases and ensure that all updates are applied without disrupting business operations.
User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to Costpoint users. Create user documentation, conduct training sessions, and offer ongoing support to resolve system-related issues.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that Costpoint is compliant with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage user access and permissions to maintain system security.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within Costpoint to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure that Costpoint aligns with financial processes and systems. Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Deltek Costpoint certification) are a plus.
Experience: Experience as a Deltek Costpoint Administrator or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of Costpoint modules and functionality.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, including knowledge of system configuration, report writing, and data management. Familiarity with SQL or other database management tools is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization.
