Senior Contracts Management Analyst (Commercial)

Interim to Hire
We are partnering with our client to identify a Senior Contracts Management Analyst (SCMA) to support the Legal team and key business stakeholders. This role will focus on drafting, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial contracts across the U.S. and Canada, with exposure to global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review,redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Master services agreements (MSAs), SOWs, amendments
    • Sales, distributor, and licensing agreements
    • Real estate (leases, construction-related) contracts
  • Provide clear, practical guidance to internal stakeholders on contract terms, risks, and process
  • Serve as a go-to contracting resource across functions (Legal, Sales, HR, Operations, etc.)
  • Own contracts end-to-end-from intake through execution and compliance
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risk; escalate issues as needed
  • Drive process improvements across contracting tools, templates, and clause libraries
  • Support reporting and analysis of contract data and metrics
  • Lead or support broader legal/contracting initiatives and projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts
  • Strong knowledge of contract structures, legal language, and risk mitigation
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • In-house experience
  • Consumer products or retail industry background
  • Experience building or improving a commercial contracting playbook
  • Familiarity with CLM tools (ContractPod strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
