We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Consultant - FPSO Business Transformation. This Consultant will lead the Business Development Transformation workstream, focused on establishing a world?class commercial function to support multi?billion?dollar asset development projects. This is a high?visibility role that interfaces directly with senior advisors, corporate leadership, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Development capability?build workstream supporting U.S. commercial expansion.
  • Develop frameworks, operating models, processes, and tools that will support large?scale commercial pursuits in the FPSO and offshore energy space.
  • Drive commercial transformation efforts related to market entry, competitive positioning, pipeline development, and deal execution.
  • Support leadership in shaping U.S. commercial strategy for long?cycle, capital?intensive asset development projects (typical deal sizes $3B-$4B+).
  • Advise on best practices for navigating large B2B negotiations involving custom?engineered commercial assets.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior advisors and executive stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and corporate functions.
  • Operate autonomously as the first U.S.?based business development strategy resource, helping to establish foundations for a future team.

Skills Required

  • 4+ years at a top?tier strategy consulting firm.
  • Strong background in FPSO, offshore energy, oil & gas, or large?scale commercial/industrial construction (e.g., power plants, major engineered assets).
  • Demonstrated success supporting or executing large B2B negotiations and commercial pursuits.
  • Experience with custom?engineered commercial assets and complex technical enterprises.
  • Familiarity with deal cycles involving multi?billion?dollar capital projects.
  • Strong executive?level communication, structured problem?solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Self?starter who is confident operating with minimal internal infrastructure or local team support.
