Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a Southern California non-profit human services and health care organization in their search for an experienced Compensation Analyst.

Reporting to the Director for Compensation, the Compensation Analyst II assists with compensation programs and initiatives in support of organizational goals and objectives. Conducts compensation analysis and salary recommendations. Participates in annual compensation survey processes. Creates, updates and maintains job descriptions. Assists with analysis and modeling of compensation programs including merit programs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 to 5 years’ compensation experience, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience to perform the job successfully
• Strong communication skills with all levels of employees in order to create and maintain effective partnerships internal and external to the organization
• Advanced Excel skills, including strong data management, use of V-lookups, and pivot tables is required
• Strong PowerPoint skills in order to create presentations for management to facilitate decision making
• Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility while handling competing priorities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state laws related to employee compensation
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
• Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential data and information
• Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
