We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Business Analyst - Finance systems.?
This role will be instrumental in supporting our Microsoft D365 and Microsoft AX systems. You will work closely with finance teams, IT, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Elicit and document business requirements from finance stakeholders.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for system enhancements and new implementations.
- Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and other visual aids to communicate complex information.
System Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft D365 and Microsoft AX systems, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights to business stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Proven experience with Microsoft D365 and/or Microsoft AX.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of 1 a team. ?
- Experience with SQL and other data analysis tools is a plus.
