Our client, is looking to hire a Senior Attorney – FERC to sit in their corporate office in Alpharetta, GA. The Sr. Attorney will provide legal advice regarding tariffs and matters in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as well as intrastate agencies regulating rates and other terms of service. This person will advise internal clients about tariff strategy and will provide commercial support and regulatory advice for business development projects. This role will support FERC filings and any cases or petitions filed before FERC. Additionally, the Sr. Attorney will advise management and business units regarding legal issues that impact the business and work as part of a team on complex regulatory litigation. This person will work extensively with outside counsel.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Required
•Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
•8+ years legal experience federal energy regulatory law
•Membership in the State Bar Association as an attorney qualified to practice law in Georgia
Preferred:
•5+ years’ experience with FERC, oil, or natural gas pipeline regulatory support preferred
