Our client, an oil & gas services company located in West Houston, seeks a Senior Technical Accountant. This person will be responsible for new accounting standard assessments and implementation, providing technical accounting guidance to the finance organization, and other corporate functions, and supporting various SEC reporting requirements.
Sr. Technical Accountant responsibilities include:
- M&A transaction support
- New accounting standard implementation
- Technical research
- SEC reporting support
- Various ad-hoc projects
Sr. Technical Accountant qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 3+ years’ experience handling technical accounting either in public accounting or in an industry setting.
- CPA preferred.
