Our client, an established and innovative healthcare company, is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant, with a focus on SEC Reporting to join their team in Culver City.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
- CPA Preferred
- 4+ years professional experience
- Experience in Big 4 Accounting Firms Highly Preferred
- Experience and strong familiarity with US GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, account analysis, and financial statement review.
- Self-starter, well organized, excellent communicator and team player
Responsibilities:
- Compile reports for independent auditor reviews and audits of quarterly and annual SEC financial reports including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, international financial reports, provide support for domestic and international tax filings and other statutory audits, and provide support to internal auditors
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements including footnotes and MD&A disclosures of the Company’s SEC filings (Forms 10-K and 10-Q)
- Technical research of significant accounting and reporting related items
- Assist in the preparation of management’s items associated with compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act
- Assist with the research and implementation of new accounting guidance and other ad hoc special projects
- Provide support for GL team and month end close process, such as account reconciliations, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
