We have partnered with a manufacturing client in their search for a Senior Accountant on an interim basis for 4-6 months. This position will be located 100% on site in Friendswood, TX.
Responsibilities
Financial and Cost Accounting general ledger posting
Financial Reporting and Statutory closing
Supporting internal and statutory audits
Preparing schedules required to complete the month-end close and reporting process
Preparing monthly general ledger intercompany reconcilements
Preparing monthly ledger and bank statement reconcilements
Preparing monthly financial packages and deviation analysis
Skills Required
Larger, international company experience with exposure to all aspects of accounting
Consolidations experience a plus
IFRS Accounting experience required
Ability to understand accounting transactions and ability to questions related to accounting transactions
ERP experience, preferably MS Dynamics AX, SL or GP
