Lucas Group has partnered with our client in Conroe that is seeking a Sr. Accountant. This is a full-time, contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision applies knowledge of the Company's financial and accounting systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Performs complex account reconciliations and associated analysis.
- Prepares and posts journal vouchers which may include consolidations and eliminations.
- Prepares, analyzes and distributes financial results including variance explanations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 4+ years in an accounting role required
- SAP experience with Controlling module and/or Product costing module is highly preferred (SAP required)
- Gross expense Planning and control preferred
- Understanding manufacturing terminology and metrics preferred
