We have partnered with our media client in their search for an Interim Senior Accountant - AR & AP. (Contract position)
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including custom invoice preparation, collections, invoice processing, payment workflows, AP approvals, and monitoring the AR inbox to ensure timely resolution of customer billing inquiries.
- Manage the company's invoicing workflow by extracting data from HubSpot, cleaning and organizing it in Excel, and preparing invoice files for upload into Oracle EBS / Fusion, while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting efficient accounting operations.
- Partner closely with Sales, Accounting, and customers to resolve billing questions, verify customer and invoice information, support collections activities, improve communication between teams, and identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Skills Required
- Proven experience managing Accounts Receivable processes: including custom invoicing, collections, customer reconciliations, billing support and working experience with Accounts Payables approval processes, invoices, & AP workflows in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment.
- Strong experience with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation), and experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Finance, and customers, prioritize competing deadlines, and work independently in a remote consulting environment.

- Bachelor's Degree (Strong Plus)
