Senior Accountant (Closed)

Role Overview

Lucas Group has partnered with a growing real estate investment company in their search for a Senior Accountant. With offices across the country, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their robust accounting team near Downtown Los Angeles to help them with their nationwide property portfolio. This individual will handle the day-to-day accounting for an assigned portfolio and will work with the investing team as needed.

Skills Needed:

• Prepare complex journal entries
• General ledger analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, client revenue reconciliation, and fixed assets
• Coordinate inter-company balances, review business units and explanation of variances
• Reconcile and review G/L accounts to ensure accuracy and identify/resolve discrepancies
• Assist the team with quarterly audits and report

• Other duties and projects as assigned
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables

• Experience with JD Edwards Accounting preferred

Educational/Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
• CPA preferred
• 3+ years of Accounting experience required
• Public Accounting experience is highly preferred
