We have been hired by a Southeast Houston area construction organization to help them find a Senior Project Accountant.
Senior Project Accountant Responsibilities include:
- Manage accounts payable processes
- Maintain internal controls and procedures
- Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practices
- Assist in the creation of process flows, work instruction, test scripts and end user training
- Guide and assist divisions by communicating current accounting policies and procedures
- Work with project teams to ensure projects are meeting the needs of accounting
- Manage project finances, invoicing and reconciliations
- Assist with the integration process of the new ERP system
Senior Project Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Experience with ERP systems implementation
- At least five years of work experience in the accounting field
- Construction industry preferred
