Senior Accountant
Lucas Group has been engaged by a local Law Firm to identify a Senior Accountant. This is a newly created position in a growing firm where you will be involved in A-Z accounting reporting directly to the Controller. Ideal candidate will have law firm experience especially with a Mass Tort or Personal Injury practice.
Some Responsibilities Include:
Ensure that accounting policies are consistent with GAAP requirements
Prepare monthly financial statements
Review monthly reports and prepare adjusting entries as needed
Ensure trust accounts reconcile
Bank and credit card reconciliations
AP/AR Responsibilities – ensure vendors are paid, prepare AR statements, invoicing, etc.
Assist Controller with special projects including ERP implementation
