Our Client, a leader in the oil & gas services industry, has engaged Lucas Group to identify a Senior Accountant. This position will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for all Corporate financial reporting and transactions. With Director of Finance and CFO assistance, this is a highly visible role with the essential task of providing financial activities information to management and shareholders for future economic decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Cash flow management
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
• Prepare financial management reports including, internal and external monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Analyses and reporting of financial activities – including costs, operations, and forecasting

Keys:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
• CPA ?or CPA candidate
• ?8 years accounting experience; public accounting a plus
• Strong GL accounting experience
• ?Oil & gas service company experience
• SAP a big plus
• Positive and promotable attitude
