Senior Accountant (Closed)

Lucas Group has been engaged to identify a Senior Accountant for a Houston Area IT company. This position will work closely with the Controller and other financial team and be involved day to day accounting, ME close, financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities Include:

• Full cycle accounting including: maintaining GL, prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries, consolidate entities
• Preparation of financial statements
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting package
• Budget to actual analysis, ad hoc analysis
• Liaison for external auditors
• Special projects as needed
• Drives process improvements to streamline close

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Working with European subsidiaries/business units required
• CPA preferred
