Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Corporate Accountant will assist with all phases of financial accounting for corporate entities. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting, analyzing financial results and providing inputs to the financial statements. Additionally, the Senior Corporate Accountant will be involved in management reporting, maintaining corporate controls / policies and procedures documentation, and drafting technical accounting memos as needed.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- Four or more years of public accounting experience with a good mix of public and private clients in various industries
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and function independently; effective time management is critical
- High technical mastery a must. Advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven organizational skills with ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic, growing environment
- Ability to interact with co-workers in an articulate, courteous and business-like manner at all times
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / responsibilities at once
