Job Description

The Senior Accountant will work within a team of accounting professionals and the role will be comprised of various accounting responsibilities including: handling of month-end close processes, dealer stocks, managing expenses, preparing balance sheets, rent, analytics, profitability statement, data research and extraction, etc.

Job Requirements?

Experience in the following elements required:

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
  • Monthly Financial Closing and MIS Reporting
  • Supporting of Inventory Management & Monthly Inventory Reconciliations with Financial Statements
  • P&L and B/S Trend Analysis
  • Complete all monthly Accounting journal entries
  • Preparation of B/S account reconciliations
  • Assets Management.
  • Preparation & Support for Month-End closing/Accrual Analysis
  • Annual preparation of 1099 forms
  • Handling of Annual insurance renewals related to General Liability, Auto, Umbrella, and Workman’s Compensation
  • Handle all issues related to corporate taxes, state taxes and property taxes.
  • Ensure all statutory compliance measures are followed.
  • Special projects for Controller and CFO

? Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
  • CPA or CPA eligible
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to converse with vendors, dealers and employees via phone and email.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Programs, (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of SAP system
  • Management/Team leadership
  • Experience in International Accounting affairs
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently is required
