Lucas Group is partnering with a Mortgage client in the west side of Houston looking for a Senior Accountant to join their organization on a contract to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry and strong reconciliation experience.
Responsibilities:
- General Ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation
- Reconcile accounts in the balance sheet and bank accounts
- Reconcile assets
- GAAP compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting
Preferred:
- Mortgage industry experience in Accounting
