Our Oil & Gas client located in West Houston has partnered with Lucas Group to assist with identifying a Senior Financial Analyst who is also bilingual in Korean.This position will be responsible for financial reporting & analysis and financial modeling . In addition, this position will support or be involved in the end of month closing process to address complicated accounting topics.
Compensation: to $110K + bonus
Some Responsibilities Include...
- Headquarter financial reporting on a monthly basis.
- Support month-end closing process through recording GL journal entries such as DD&A, ARO, and hedge entries.
- Perform variance analysis on a monthly basis and support annual budgeting.
- Prepare HQ quarter disclosure package for HQ’s consolidated reporting
- Coordinate income tax return and YE audit with external tax/audit firms
- Research on GAAP/Tax rule updates and write analysis reports
- Perform complex financial analysis to evaluate variances, project economics, and operational efficiencies.
- Support controller as a liaison between HQ and regional HQ.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5-10 years of accounting experience in Oil & Gas industry, preference for experience in public accounting
- Financial reporting/analysis and modeling experience
- MS Excel skills is required
- Relevant professional certification such as CPA, CA, local equivalent or Master's in Finance or Accounting preferred
