SEC Reporting Consultant (Quarterly Engagement)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA during filing periods
Schedule: 2 to 4 weeks each quarter in April July October and January

Are you an experienced SEC reporting professional who enjoys stepping in during peak periods to make an immediate impact Our client a mission driven 450 employee bank supporting housing finance community investment and economic development is looking for a Quarterly SEC Reporting Consultant to join their team during filing cycles.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast paced reporting environments and wants a predictable recurring consulting engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the preparation of 10Q and 10K filings including financial statements footnotes and disclosures
  • Ensure financial data is linked consistent and accurate across statements and workpapers
  • Support XBRL tagging and compliance throughout the filing process
  • Manage and support review workflows including comment tracking and version control
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to keep the process running smoothly through filing
  • Jump in where needed to keep the SEC reporting function running efficiently during peak periods

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience with SEC reporting and preparing financial statements and disclosures
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and XBRL requirements
  • Someone who is organized detail oriented and comfortable working under filing deadlines
  • Workiva experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco on a hybrid basis during each quarterly engagement
