Role summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager with mandatory SAP Public Cloud experience to join an SAP programme for a customer operating a B2B and B2G online platform.
The Project Manager will take ownership of delivery governance and coordination across the SAP programme, working with business stakeholders, SAP teams and implementation partners.
The successful contractor must bring strong practical experience of:
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
- SAP Activate
- CALM F2S
- Sherpa-style delivery
This is an immediate requirement for a hands-on SAP Project Manager who can quickly take control of delivery, manage dependencies and drive the programme towards key milestones.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day project management of an SAP Public Cloud implementation/transformation.
- Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions.
- Drive the programme in line with SAP Activate.
- Apply CALM F2S processes within the delivery framework.
- Operate effectively within a Sherpa-style project and governance environment.
- Coordinate SAP functional, technical, business and third-party delivery teams.
- Manage dependencies between SAP Public Cloud, business processes and the wider platform landscape.
- Facilitate steering committees, project governance, status reviews and decision-making.
- Maintain effective RAID management and clear escalation paths.
- Manage senior business and IT stakeholders in both German and English.
- Coordinate testing, readiness, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities as applicable.
- Ensure transparent reporting across scope, schedule, quality, dependencies and decisions.
Must-have experience:
- Proven SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud project experience. This is mandatory.
- Strong track record as an SAP Project Manager delivering complex implementation or transformation programmes.
- Demonstrable practical experience with SAP Activate.
- Experience with CALM F2S.
- Experience working within or adapting to a Sherpa-style delivery approach.
- Strong project governance, planning, RAID and dependency-management skills.
- Experience managing SAP implementation partners and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong senior stakeholder-management capability.
- Business-fluent German and strong professional English.
- Able to start immediately or at very short notice.
- Able to travel approximately 10% to Berlin.
- Meets the customer's EU nationality / work-authorisation requirement.
