We have partnered with our client in their search for a SAP Implementation Lead.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex SAP implementations, from project initiation to post-implementation support. This role will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption of SAP solutions within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage all aspects of SAP implementation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Take corrective actions to ensure project success.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of technical and functional consultants.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Configuration:
- Configure SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP) to meet business requirements.
- Ensure that configurations align with best practices and industry standards.
- Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate with testing teams to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Identify and resolve defects and issues.
- Data Migration:
- Oversee data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Go-Live and Post-Implementation Support:
- Plan and execute the go-live phase, including cutover activities and user training.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement a change management strategy.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
- Train and educate users on new processes and system functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP implementation and project management.
- Deep understanding of SAP modules, including FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Certifications in SAP modules are preferred.
Title: SAP Implementation Lead
Location: Remote but will have to travel to work onsite at clients
