SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Dublin (Hybrid - approx. 3 days on-site)

Contract: Initial 6-month contract

Start: ASAP

Korn Ferry are hiring on behalf of a global Life Sciences organisation for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant to support a critical phase of an ongoing S/4HANA programme.

The project is approaching go-live, and the team requires a strong SAP FICO specialist who can contribute immediately across final project activities including data migration, testing, cutover preparation and post-go-live support.

This is a highly visible role where the successful candidate will work closely with internal finance stakeholders, project leadership, and the system implementation partner to ensure a smooth transition into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support final stages of an SAP S/4HANA implementation within the Finance domain
  • Contribute to data migration validation, reconciliation and issue resolution
  • Support system testing activities including SIT and UAT
  • Assist with cutover planning and execution for go-live
  • Provide post-go-live support and hypercare for finance users
  • Work closely with the system implementation partner to review and challenge proposed solutions where appropriate
  • Mentor and support junior SAP resources within the project team
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure business requirements are fully met

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience as an SAP FICO consultant
  • Previous involvement in SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally through go-live
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare activities
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Controlling
  • Ability to work effectively with system integrators and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a business-facing role
