We have partnered with our client in their search for an experienced SAP FI Lead Consultant to join a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for a Financial Services client in Germany. The consultant will lead the Finance workstream, driving solution design, business process transformation, and delivery of S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience
- Extensive expertise in SAP FI and strong understanding of related CO processes
- Proven experience leading Finance workstreams on SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programmes
- Strong hands-on configuration and solution design experience
- Experience in the Financial Services industry (banking, insurance, asset management, or similar) preferred
- Fluent German and English
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working in international project environments
Preferred
- Based in or near Munich
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal
- Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory and reporting requirements
- SAP Activate and Agile delivery experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the SAP Finance workstream throughout the S/4HANA transformation
- Facilitate requirements gathering and solution design workshops
- Design and configure SAP FI solutions aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project management, and technical teams
- Support integration activities across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Oversee testing, data migration, training, and go-live preparation
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to the wider Finance team
