Senior UX/UI Designer (Freelance/Contract)

We're supporting a global consumer brand undergoing a significant ecommerce transformation and are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape the next generation of digital customer experiences.

The role will focus on supporting the migration of multiple direct-to-consumer ecommerce platforms to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), helping refine existing customer journeys, improve usability, and ensure design consistency across digital channels.

Working closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Architects and Engineering teams, you'll balance platform capabilities with customer needs to create high-quality, implementation-ready experiences.

Responsibilities

• Review and adapt SFCC out-of-the-box components and templates
• Align digital experiences with established brand guidelines
• Maintain consistency across multiple ecommerce brands
• Identify and prioritise high-impact UX improvements
• Design and optimise product personalisation and configuration experiences
• Deliver detailed Figma designs, prototypes and specifications
• Collaborate closely with development teams throughout implementation
• Balance user experience goals with technical constraints and platform capabilities

Experience Required

• Strong ecommerce or direct-to-consumer experience
• Excellent UX and UI design capabilities
• Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
• Strong understanding of customer journeys and conversion optimisation
• Experience designing interactive, personalised or configurable experiences
• Expert Figma skills
• Experience maintaining design systems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working closely with engineering teams
