OUTSIDE SALES REP
Strong Base Salary based on experience
Fairfield, CA area
Work for one of the largest distributors of pipe, valve and fittings for the energy and industrial markets.
- 50% of salary potential bonus paid quarterly.

Must have: Undergraduate Degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary.
Job Description:
- Generate new business by identifying new customers and markets
- Grow existing accounts through proactive sales plans to include focus on lost & declining existing customer base
- Deliver superior service through consultative sales, conducting demonstrations, detailing products and cost savings, determining customer needs and offering solutions;
- Negotiate with vendors and coordinate efforts with Supply Chain groups for best product prices
- Assist with proposals, contract research, negotiation and implementation of sales strategies
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary
- Any combination of four or more years in PVF inside sales to include demonstrated sales negotiation experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of PVF materials and ability to understand scope of services to include pricing, supply, and contract terms
- Ability to travel within and outside branch service area, with occasional overnight stays
