Sales Support Coordinator
Overview
The Sales Support Coordinator plays a vital role and works closely with Account Managers, Operations and Customer Service to provide pre and post-sales support. The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales staff by providing administrative, clerical and customer support. Additional tasks include following up with customers, completing orders and processing sales leads. This position will play a critical role in helping the company continue to grow.
Responsibility
Event Management
- Planning current events
- Provide insights on opportunities with current events (i.e. attendee lists, marketing opportunities, sponsored lunches, etc)
- Coordinating with event organizers on due dates for action items (i.e. samples, marketing material, lead scanners, company bio, speaker bio)
- Disseminate due dates for action items to respective team (i.e. speaker proposal dates, exhibit acquisition, etc)
- Maintain current event list and add new events as they come
- Execute and ensuring (tracking) shipment of action items (i.e. samples, marketing materials, booth equipment)
- Coordinate with external event management organization in regards to logistics of booth equipment
- Account for all items going inbound and outbound
- Assist in ROI analysis of events by proving a detailed event recap documents for each event
Order Processing
- New Order Entry
- Exception order processing
Services to drive future business
- Customer Service
- Assist customers via email and telephone
- Assist sales team via data entry with CRM
- Approve customer registrations and distribute to designated Account Managers
- Listen, clarify, develop and clearly express ideas, both verbally and in writing
- Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information in order to access and fulfill customer needs
- Demonstrate strong ownership of issues that arise through email and telephone
- Ensure that all customers feel that they are a priority
- Identify, analyze and solve problems
- Be resourceful and take initiative in suggesting and executing various solutions for resolution
