The Lucas Group is searching for a talented, driven and entrepreneurial minded Sales Enablement Manager for our client’s SaaS products and services team in the D.C. metro-area. This Sales Enablement Manager role will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive sales training & development program to drive revenue and empower our sales teams to be effective and productive. The ideal Sales Enablement Manager candidate will have direct experience working in field sales or alongside sales teams in a sales enablement role. We are looking for a self- motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and manage the overall Sales Training Program focused on driving revenue.
  • Manage new hire sales enablement on-boarding- logistics, planning and content.
  • Create new hire workshops- in person and virtual.
  • Measure and share results of effectiveness of sales enablement investments and sales programs cross-company.
  • Create and execute an effective competitive, ongoing demo improvement plan.
  • Create and implement education and formal training programs, as well as an understanding of sales methodologies, CRM usage (specifically salesforce.com), pipeline management, customer engagement, and other important elements of a high performing sales and learning culture.
  • Create effective and engaging sales enablement content both by adapting existing content and by extracting knowledge from key stakeholders to build content.
  • Deliver sales enablement training to the field sales force both in person during workshops and remotely.
  • Manage the sales enablement process from start to finish including the development of metrics to gauge the effectiveness of enablement process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Business, Marketing or Communications is required.
  • 5+ years sales enablement experience.
  • 5+ years enterprise SaaS field sales or sales management experience.
  • Comfortable learning, understanding, and explaining technical concepts related to enterprise infrastructure and SaaS.
  • Experience with Unified Communications and/or video streaming is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in building a sales learning and development strategy.
  • Ability to drive projects from idea to results with minimal guidance.
  • Experience in a high growth, startup environment preferred.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communicator, including group presentations, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
