Description:
Lucas Group has partnered with a rapidly growing Logistics Provider to identify a Director of Safety and Compliance for their growing fleet. The Director will be responsible for creating a Safety Culture by implementing a plan that will ensure Safety and Compliance.
Tasks of the role may include:
- Designing and implementing the Safety Management System, included recruiting, on-boarding, drug and alcohol testing, driver files, loss prevention programs, and driver training/testing.
- Negotiates, implements and manages the company risk management program
- Design a comprehensive loss prevention program to reduce accidents and injuries as well as assign, monitor and document ongoing/remedial training
Requirements:
- 3-5 years Operations/Safety Management for a mid-size fleet
- Experience in Auto-Haul is a plus
