Revenue Accounting Manager

Title: Revenue Accounting Manager

Location: 100% Remote (San Francisco-based client) | Contract with Potential to Hire

Position Overview

Open due to a recent team departure, this role will own day-to-day revenue accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. Key focus areas include ASC 606 contract review, month-end close, reporting, and cross-functional partnership with Sales, Legal, and FP&A. This is a hands-on role driving accurate revenue recognition, strengthening controls, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of revenue accounting experience
• Strong expertise in ASC 606 and contract interpretation
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (Sales, FP&A, Legal)
• Strong analytical and process improvement mindset
• CPA preferred
