Lucas Group is partnering with a growing oil and gas company in the Downtown Houston area in their search for a Revenue Accountant. This is a long term contract position, at least 6 months with strong potential to extend beyond this date.
Responsibilities:
- Identify missing revenue by running reports, analyzing the reports and reaching out to the companies involved to identify the errors and collect the money.
- Conduct research to identify the source/cause of the out of balances
- Processed and procedures are set up in this area
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel - must be able to move data in Pivot tables, V-Lookups, tracking
- OGSYS experience preferred
